Oatmeal Raisin Cookies I

Ingredients
3/4 cupbutter, softened
3/4 cupwhite sugar
3/4 cuppacked light brown sugar
2eggs
1 teaspoonvanilla extract
1 1/4 cupsall-purpose flour
1 teaspoonbaking soda

2 3/4 cupsrolled oats

Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In large
bowl, cream together butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
Beat in the eggs and vanilla until fluffy. Stir together flour, baking
soda, cinnamon, and salt. Gradually beat into butter mixture. Stir in
oats and raisins. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake 8 to 10
minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden brown. Cool slightly,
remove from sheet to wire rack. Cool completely.

Ingredients
1/2 cupwhite sugar

Directions
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease an 8x8 inch square pan.
In a medium
saucepan, combine the sugar, butter and water. Cook over medium heat
until boiling. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips until melted
and smooth. Mix in the eggs and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda
and salt; stir into the chocolate mixture. Spread evenly into the
prepared pan.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven, until brownies set up. Do not overbake! Cool in pan and cut into squares.

Ingredients
1 cupsifted all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoonbaking powder
1/8 teaspoonbaking soda
1/2 teaspoonsalt
1/2 cupchopped walnuts
1/3 cupbutter, melted
1 cuppacked brown sugar
1egg, beaten
1 tablespoonvanilla extract
2/3 cupsemisweet chocolate chips
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking pan.
Measure 1 cup
sifted flour. Add baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Sift again.
Add 1/2 cup chopped nuts. Mix well and set aside.
Stir the brown sugar into the melted butter and mix well. Cool slightly.
Mix the beaten egg and vanilla into the brown sugar mixture. Add flour mixture, a little at a time, mixing just until combined.
Spread the
batter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle 1/2 to 1 cup chocolate chips on
top. Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted in the
center comes out clean, about 20 to 25 minutes.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium
bowl, cream together the butter, shortening and sugar. Stir in the eggs
and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking powder and salt, stir into the
creamed mixture until dough comes together. Roll dough into walnut sized
balls and roll the balls in sugar. Place them on an unprepared cookie
sheet about 2 inches apart.
Bake cookies
10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven, until bottom is light brown.
Remove from baking sheets to cool on wire racks.

Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Generously grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
In a large
bowl, mix together the oats, brown sugar, wheat germ, cinnamon, flour,
raisins and salt. Make a well in the center, and pour in the honey, egg,
oil and vanilla. Mix well using your hands. Pat the mixture evenly into
the prepared pan.
Bake for 30
to 35 minutes in the preheated oven, until the bars begin to turn golden
at the edges. Cool for 5 minutes, then cut into bars while still warm.
Do not allow the bars to cool completely before cutting, or they will be
too hard to cut.

Ingredients
1 cupbutter, softened
1/2 cupwhite sugar
2 cupsall-purpose flour
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium
bowl, blend together softened butter, 2 cups flour and 1/2 cup sugar.
Press into the bottom of an ungreased 9x13 inch pan.
Bake for 15
to 20 minutes in the preheated oven, or until firm and golden. In
another bowl, whisk together the remaining 1 1/2 cups sugar and 1/4 cup
flour. Whisk in the eggs and lemon juice. Pour over the baked crust.
Bake for an
additional 20 minutes in the preheated oven. The bars will firm up as
they cool. For a festive tray, make another pan using limes instead of
lemons and adding a drop of green food coloring to give a very pale
green. After both pans have cooled, cut into uniform 2 inch squares and
arrange in a checker board fashion.

Ingredients

1 cupcrunchy peanut butter

In a medium
bowl, mix together the butter or margarine, graham cracker crumbs,
confectioners' sugar, and 1 cup peanut butter until well blended. Press
evenly into the bottom of an ungreased 9x13 inch pan.
In a metal
bowl over simmering water, or in the microwave, melt the chocolate chips
with the peanut butter, stirring occasionally until smooth. Spread over
the prepared crust. Refrigerate for at least one hour before cutting
into squares.
